New Free OTR Shows Added

New Shows Added - January 11, 2010
A just added a bunch of new episodes to the site! I added several new shows that have never been on the site before. I am really excited to be able to bring you "Sears Mutual Radio Theater". This was a series done in the early 80's. The quality is great!

Sears Mutual Radio Theater - An awesome show done in the early 80's. It is hosted by Andy Griffith, Vincent Price, and more stars that will recognize! Let me know what you think because I have many more of these I can post.
Baby Snooks Show - Just added some more Baby Snooks shows.... Snooks is in trouble again! :)
CBS Radio Mystery Theater - I added some more of everyones favorite, CBSRMT!
I Love A Mystery - A brand new show to that has never been on the site before.
Jack Armstrong - Follow the adventures of Jack Armstong the all American boy.
Lets Pretend - This radio show features childrens stories acted out by a group of kids.
Lux Radio Theater - Lux Presents Hollywood! Just added some great new episodes of Lux Theater.

WHAT IS OLD TIME RADIO?
Old time radio often called "otr" refers to radio shows from the early days of radio broadcasting. The term usually
applies to dramas, comedies, mystery shows, westerns and variety shows that were acted out by professional actors and sent out
over the airwaves. In the golden age of radio families would sit around their radio listening to the exciting shows the way
we sit around our television sets watching them today.
WHO LISTENS TO OLD TIME RADIO SHOWS?
OTR fans used to be those people who grew up in the 1930's, 40's and 50's but thanks to the internet a whole new generation is
falling in love with OTR! Yes, young and old alike love to listen to the radio shows of yesteryear. You are never too young
to appreciate the talented actors and actresses from the golden age of radio.
